The main purpose of external Screen roller shutters is to protect the building against excessive solar radiation and heat build-up. Installed on large glazed surfaces, they provide support for the operation of air-conditioning units, thus reducing the facility’s operating costs.
In addition, thanks to the properties of the fabrics used, they guarantee optical comfort inside – on the one hand, they do not give the effect of blackout, on the other, they suppress the penetration of intensive sunlight (reduce light reflections).
It is distinguished by its innovative design. Its characteristic element is the side guides, integrated into the fabric (ZIP system), made of fibreglass and PVC. This makes it extremely durable and resistant to weather conditions such as gusty winds, hail or rain. When lowered, the roller blind also blocks insects and dirt from entering the rooms. It is not only ideal for windows – it can be installed in pergolas, verandas or on a balcony.
